Following are questions we often receive. If you have a new one, make sure to let us know!

Food Delivery

Q: How does this work?
A: Simply put, you call us or go on our website and order food from a particpating restaurant. We then deliver it to your home or office.

Q: Why don't I see my favorite restaurant?
A: We are brand new, so not all area restaurants have joined us yet. If you want to help, ask them to be a part of Grub Courier!

Q: Why does it take so long to get my order?
A: A lot of factors go in to delivery time. The restaurant needs time to make your tasty food, the area we serve is rather large, and depending on how busy it is, it might take up to an hour to get your delivery. Though sometimes it will be faster, we do suggest you order your meals early, and schedule it for when you need it. Choose a specific date and hour instead of ASAP.

Q: Why don't you take cash?
A: We want our drivers to be safe, and thus we prefer not to have them driving around with a bunch of money stuffed in their pockets. Please tip them with cash, but we prefer credit cards at the time of order for safety.

Q: Why do I have to tip the driver?
A: Well, you don't have to, but they do their best to deliver your order quickly and with a smile. You tip waiters and waitresses, right? Our drivers are the same thing, just with bucket seats.

Q: What do you base your delivery fee on?
A: We base our fees on your distance from the restaurant to your location . So if you are closer to the restaurant the delivery fee will be less, if you are farther away from the restaurant the delivery cost will be more. 

Q: What if there is a problem with my order?
A: Well we are very sorry you're having problems with your order that's nothing we strive to happen we do out best to make sure that does not happen. But if you do please call immediately to get this problem resolved. 503-967-5050

Q: What if I need to cancel an order? 
A: Orders are immediately submitted to the restaurant after being placed. Once the restaurant begins to prepare it, it cannot be cancelled. Please contact us with any issues you may have immediately after you have completed your order by calling us. 503-967-5050

Q: Is this a big conglomerate coming in to town?
A: No, actually it's two native Silverton residents who love Oregon so much they wanted to give something back.


Courier Service (New)

Q: How does your courier service work?
A: Click the link on our menu bar and fill out the information about the delivery; where to get it, where it goes, how much it weighs, etc. Once submitted, we will review, make sure we have the resources to handle the job, and send back a confirmation. 

Q: Do I pay when you deliver it?
A: Just like food delivery, we ask that you pay with a credit or debit card when you confirm the order. You are welcome to tip the driver in cash.

Q: So I submitted an order. What now?
A: We will review it and make sure we can take care of your order. Once approved, we will send back an email. Click the link to pay for the order and we'll be set to go!

Q: What is this Suggested Delivery Fee?
A: Unlike a food delivery, you can make what you consider a reasonable offer to compensate us for handling the delivery. When we receive the request we may adjust the fee, if we feel it is necessary. You will be able to then approve that before paying.

Q: What will, or won't you deliver?
A: We will deliver most anything, as long as we have the resources to handle it. We won't deliver alcohol (yet), prescriptions, fire arms (or ammo) or any illegal items. And no, we don't deliver marajuana! Amost anything else is possible.

Q: How far will you go?
A: As far as you need. It all is based on availability of staff and resources for the delivery. We are happy to deliver to other other cities, other states and beyond, as long as we can cover our costs.
